A Message From The TC8 Chair

Dear Members and Visitors, On behalf of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) Technical Committee (TC8), it is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to you all. Since 1976, the aim of TC8 is to serve as a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation in the rapidly evolving landscape of Information Systems (IS). As Chair of TC8, I am excited to lead this dynamic community of scholars and professionals dedicated to advancing the field of IS. Whether you are an expert or just beginning your journey in this field, TC8 offers valuable resources, networking opportunities, and support to help you succeed. Today, TC8 comprises 12 working groups (WGs), each focusing on a particular IS topic and bringing together the most active academics and professionals in the field. We invite you to explore our website as well as the websites of WGs, to engage in our initiatives and to suggest new ones. Together, we can leverage information technology to address challenges, seize opportunities, and make a positive impact on society. We encourage active participation from members across the globe.
